Vegetarians International Voice for Animals

Campaigning to stop Polish horses being shipped to Italian dinner tables.

Nearly 100,000 horses are transported every year from Poland to Italy in the most appalling conditions, on journeys taking up to 95 hours.

Viva!'s Journey to Death campaign is to produce literature in Polish to reach the nation with the appeal to stop this traffic in live horses and to inundate the government with their protest.

This is one of many of Viva!'s aims. I am currently involved with their efforts to draw public attention to the use of kangaroo skins in football boots and to put the practice out of practice; into banning intensive factory farming; and I'm in training to speak in schools.
